ACARO Youth Organization is a youth association that is engaged in youth development-related activities in Awdal Region. The Organization is hereby strongly criticizing the killing of Dr. Anallena Tonneli who was shot dead last Sunday as she was inspecting her patients in Borama TB Centre. We are expressing our sincere condolences to all Somaliland communities in general and to Awdalians in particular.

We are calling upon Somaliland Authorities to pay every possible effort to bring the culprits in front of justice. We are also calling upon the local communities to offer the earnest assistance to the institutions assigned to catch the perpetrators behind this barbaric, cruel and inhuman act.

Being an ally of Dr. Anallena in the combat of HIV/AIDS, we miss a very dedicated, committed and a great sympathizer of the poor and the needy people. In this regard, we would like to suggest to the well wishers of Awdal communities that the productive and fruitful projects initiated by Ms.Anallena Tonneli should not be allowed to fall apart.

She will have a permanent place in the hearts and minds of many people in Awdal Region as a result of her constant commitment and dedication to assist the poor and the needy people. As long as the projects that Anallena Tonneli established are in place, she would be remembered by thousands of people for her courage and determination to help the needy people even if this means to put herself in risk businesses.

Once again, we would like to convey our heartfelt condolences to her families and friends.
